Basic Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • garlic powder 0.5 tsp
  • onion powder 0.5 tsp
  • garlic, crushed 1 clove
  • Italian herbs 0.5 tsp
  • salt 0.5 tsp
  • olive oil 2 tbsp
  • balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp
  • black pepper 0.25 tsp
  • Parmesan 0.25 cup
  • tomato paste (to taste) 1 tbsp

Instructions

    Combine everything except the balsamic in a pan.

    Simmer 30-45 minutes for the best flavour.

    Stir in the balsamic 5 minutes before tossing the sauce with cooked pasta.
