Teriyaki Beef Jerky

Ingredients

  • soy sauce 1 cup
  • brown sugar 0.5 cup
  • rice wine vinegar 0.25 cup
  • hoisin 2 tbsp
  • sesame oil 1 tbsp
  • black garlic umami sauce 0.5 tbsp
  • ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • garlic paste 4 tsp
  • black pepper 0.25 tsp

Instructions

    Whisk all the ingredients into a marinade.

    Slice about 2 lb of beef thinly against the grain and marinate overnight.

    Dehydrate or dry in a low oven (around 160°F) until firm and leathery, 4-6 hours.
