Ingredients

  • salted butter (2 sticks) 227 g
  • granulated sugar 200 g
  • light brown sugar 200 g
  • vanilla extract 2 tsp
  • eggs 2 whole
  • plain flour 360 g
  • baking soda 1 tsp
  • baking powder 0.5 tsp
  • salt 0.5 tsp
  • chocolate chips (12 oz) 350 g

Instructions

    Heat the oven to 375°F.

    Cream the butter with both sugars until light.

    Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

    Mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.

    Scoop onto trays and bake 7-10 minutes, until the edges are golden.
