Ingredients
- plain flour 1.5 cup
- warm water (6 Tbsp) 90 ml
- instant yeast (1 packet) 7 g
- sugar 2 tbsp
- egg 1 whole
- milk 0.25 cup
- salt 0.25 tsp
- unsalted butter 2 tbsp
Instructions

Stir together the warm water, yeast, and sugar.

Add the egg and milk.

Stir in the flour, salt, and butter into a soft dough.

Let rise 2 hours.

Tip onto a floured surface and flatten with your hands.

Cut into squares and fry at 350°F until golden. Dust with powdered sugar.
